The Nepalis celebrate one of their major festivals Tihar, namely, Bhai Tika on Friday. On the occasion of the Bhai Tika, sisters worship their brothers with their best wishes for longevity and prosperity. In return, brothers, too, commit their moral respect to their sisters. The Bhai Tika is related to the promotion of brothers and sisters in the Nepali society. The other four days before the Bhai Tika are marked by the consideration and meditation about the crows (birds in general), the dogs, the cows and the oxen. The Tihar is more oriented to the Nature.
